We want everyone — including older donors and people using assistive technology — to be able to use this site with ease.
Our standard
This website is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is built into the design and code — not added as a third-party overlay.
What we’ve done
- Semantic HTML, clear heading structure and skip-to-content links
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus states
- Color contrast that meets AA across text and interface elements
- Labeled forms with clear, accessible validation messages
- Accessible menus, dialogs and event and checkout flows
- Descriptive alternative text on images, including editorial placeholders
- Support for reduced-motion preferences
- Touch targets sized for comfortable use on phones and tablets
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never finished. We test with keyboard and screen readers and welcome feedback. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us and we will fix it.
